The actor Tom Lester has died at 81, according to a report.

Lester, known for his role as Eb Dawson in the 1960s sitcom “Green Acres,” passed away from complications due to Parkinson’s disease, reports TMZ.

The actor died on Monday morning at the home of his fiancee and longtime caregiver, Jackie.

The veteran actor started his career after moving to Hollywood from Mississippi in the mid-1960s.

Lester acted in plays before landing his breakthrough role as Eb in “Green Acres.”

He beat out 400 other actors for the role, being the only one who knew how to milk a cow in real life from his farm upbringing.

The veteran actor also appeared on the show’s sister series "Petticoat Junction" and had a few crossover guest appearances as Eb on "The Beverly Hillbillies."

He was the last surviving regular cast member of the show.
