It happens to the best of us.

Reese Witherspoon recently got candid about feeling overwhelmed.

Though her transition from actress to executive producer on many notable projects appeared seamless, Witherspoon admits that being involved in so many things both on-and-off the camera has “overwhelmed” her to a certain degree.

During a chat with “CBS This Morning," Rita Braver asked the actress if she ever has “one of those days” where “you feel like you can’t do one more thing.”

“I’ll lay on the floor and cry or I’ll sit in my car and cry. Sometimes I’m totally overwhelmed,” Witherspoon replied.

The 44-year-old credited wanting to “change things” for women in the industry with keeping her going and staying motivated.

Along with being one of the most sought out and busiest actresses in Hollywood, Witherspoon kickstarted her own media company called “Hello Sunshine,” which was born after she realized she wasn’t landing the type of roles she wanted.

“I see younger women in our industry and I want them to have a better experience … I want to see that they have a beautiful idea of what the future could hold,” she revealed.

It started with her film, “Wild,” and progressed into projects that earned awards and received positive buzz from critics including the star-studded, “Big Little Lies,” Hulu’s “Little Fires Everywhere,” and Apple TV’s “The Morning Show.”

She explained showing up and relying on yourself is the key to success explaining, “I will put in the hours and I bet on myself. I’m my own lottery ticket,” adding, “I always think that, you know. If no one else shows up, I know I will show up and I know I will do the work.”

This isn’t the first time Witherspoon has been opened up about mental health.

The Oscar-winning actress spoke with “The Good Place” actress, Jameela Jamil, also an outspoken champion of mental health, and revealed she struggles with anxiety that manifests as depression.

“My brain is like a hamster on a wheel and it won’t come off, I’ve been managing it my entire life,” Witherspoon said.

The "Legally Blonde" alum doesn’t have any intention of slowing down as she just signed on to star in two upcoming Netflix rom-coms, “Your Place of Mine” and “The Cactus,” according to Deadline, which will both be produced by her movie studio.
