Bojo's Top 5 Best TV Dads Of All Time

Gimme 5: See If Your Top TV Dad Makes Bojo's List

June 14, 2019

Here is the second installment of Q100.5's Bojo's 'GIMME 5!' Check out last week's video here.

In honor of Father's Day ... Bojo gives you his top five best TV dads of all time!

Top Five Best TV Dads:

5. Al Bundy (Married with Children) - Nothing came easy for Al Bundy. The struggle began with with his drunken proposal to wife, Peg. Though being a father of two, Kelly and Bud, Bundy maintained his shoe store job despite being repeatedly fired and rehired. Bundy managed to get by while teaching his kids not to except any hand outs; even from their own father.

4. Homer Simpson (The Simpsons) - Simpson's characteristics could be described as a raging alcoholic while also maintaining the role of sole provider for wife Marge and their three kids. One a side note, all of the children stayed the ages of 10, eight and one for 30 years. Simpson is a wise fool.

3. Carl Winslow (Family Matters) - WInslow with the title of father also has the the title of officer in Chicago PD. He had to deal with the annoying antics of Urkel on a daily basis for eight long seasons. Any viewer wouldn't even deal with Urkel that long.

2. Uncle Phil (Fresh Prince Of Bel Air) - Banks was the lawyer turned judge who held down the fort as the ultimate tough loving TV pops. He was husband to wife Vivian who always seemed to be going through a midlife crisis while keeping Hillary, Will, Carlton, Ashley and Nicki in check on a daily basis.

1. Cliff Huxtable (The Cosby Show) - Despite Bill Cosby's recent legal and reputation issues, Dr. Heathcliff Huxtable might be the best fictional patriach. First off, he was a gynocologist with a home office that pulled a wife that was lawyer. Secondly, Huxtable may have displayed the best fictional examples of the good that can come when you blend equal parts discipline, patience, love and humor into parenting practices to his five kids. He did it all while rocking a colorful sweater and a big smile.

Honorable mention:

*Danny Tanner (Full House), *Fred Sanford (Sanford & Son) and *Mike Brady (Brady Bunch)
