It was 2016 when Erika Jayne (known offstage as Erika Girardi) dipped her thigh-high stilettos into mainstream stardom as a cast member on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. But as a pop star, Erika Jayne has been singing and strutting her way across the world, performing at parties and clubs—typically while flanked by toned male backup dancers—for more than a decade.

It makes sense, then, that the rhinestone clad, larger-than-life performer with nine Billboard dance club #1 singles is no stranger to Las Vegas. In anticipation of her headlining appearance at Glampyres at Orleans Arena October 19, the official Las Vegas Pride Parade after party, we’re counting down her most memorable (and XXpen$ive) moments.

8. On the most recent season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Jayne and co. take a trip to Las Vegas celebrating all of the Cancer women of the group: herself, Dorit Kemsley and Lisa Rinna. Before dinner at Lorena Garcia’s Chica and clubbing at Tao, the Housewives gather for a pre-game in their hotel suite. As Brian Moylan of Vulture.com described, “Erika Jayne shows up dressed as a Russian prostitute who just got out of dominatrix camp and, well, it is amazing.” She doesn’t spend $40,000 a month on shoes and clothes for nothing!

7. On that same Las Vegas visit—which also included stops at the High Roller, Shops at Crystals and cocktails at The Dorsey—Jayne and co-stars (“stars” seems unfair here, really. Everybody knows, Erika shines brighter than Swarovski in the Vegas sunlight) Teddi (Cougar) Mellencamp and Dorit Kemsley hit the tables at Venetian and Palazzo. Jayne gambled away thousands while looking chic in a green (the color of money!) Gucci tracksuit. “Vegas is not the place to be accountable … for anything,” she said. “Certainly not when you're with me.”

6. Years before Housewife fame or “How Many F**ks,” Jayne made her Las Vegas live debut at Krave nightclub, Labor Day Weekend in 2009. When asked by the Las Vegas Sun what to expect at the show, she kept it candid, “It’s me and my four, hot, sexy boys … It’s risqué in parts, sweet in parts and downright vulgar in others.”

5. Proving there’s actually nothing she can’t do, Jayne co-hosted the 2018 Billboard Music Awards official pre-show outside MGM Grand (alongside director of programming/honorable emperor of Bravo, Andy Cohen). She did so well, she was asked to host the American Music Awards red carpet on October 9. And guess what? She rocked it.

4. A reported 600 fans showed up to Crystals at City Center when Erika Jayne cam through to sign copies of her New York Times best-selling memoir, Pretty Mess, in March. Afterwards, during a celebratory shopping spree at DSquared boutique, Jayne told Vegas Seven, “I refuse to be told that my time is up and to go sit down … As women, I think our worth only increases as we get older. I feel more comfortable in my skin at 46 than I did at 26.” Preach, sister.

3. When you’re an international dance music sensation and your husband is, oh, you know, that lawyer from Erin Brokovich, what does date night look like? “We jump in our little plane, go to Vegas, eat at our favorite restaurant, play some craps and come home,” Jayne told People magazine. She also shared that their favorite romantic eatery is Michael’s Gourmet Room (which registers $$$$ on Yelp, of course) at South Point Hotel & Casino.

2. If you’re wondering what not to do should you get up-close and personal with Erika Jayne, it’s this creepy move she described to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, “I was eating breakfast around 7 a.m. with my friend Mikey, and this woman crept up behind me. She got real low and then jumped up, put her hands on my shoulder and put her mouth up to my ear. It scared the (expletive) out of me only because I was eating. What she said was super sweet. But it was still a shock.”

1. The gem of all Erika-Jayne-in-Las-Vegas gems is hands-down the campy music video for her first number one hit, “Rollercoaster,” which was partially filmed at the Stardust. Why? First off, the clip opens with a faux rating of “IE for Intense Excitement and Dancing.” She shimmies in a showroom! She seduces mystery men! “I think it was the very last day or the day before the Stardust closed,” Jayne told Las Vegas Sun about the shoot. “I think I was the last person to stand on that stage, which was really cool.” It’s the glitzy, kitschy Stardust time capsule we don’t deserve.
