Love & Hip Hop Executive Producer Mona Scott-Young Turns Author

"Blurred Lines"

June 21, 2018

Mona Scott-Young, CEO & Founder of Monami Entertainment, just added “author” to her overflowing arsenal.  On June 26th, she will release her first fictional novel titled “Blurred Lines” which Mona describes as “a page-turning, juicy story of love, lies and betrayal set in the world of music and entertainment – all themes that our viewers are familiar with, but the novel will take readers ‘beyond the reality’ and delve further into the compelling storytelling they have come to know and love.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with this media mogul, she is also a television producer, executive producer and entrepreneur, best known for the VH1 reality television franchise Love & Hip Hop.  She co-founded the management company Violator and helped launch and reform the careers of some of the artist we play on Q100.5: LL Cool J, Ja Rule, 50 Cent, Missy Elliott and Mariah Carey.

With many of us struggling to find our purpose in life and where to even start, Mona Scott-Young shares some advice in an interview with VH1, "Challenge yourself. Dig deep. Push yourself further than even you think is possible because when you hear that our potential is limitless that is rooted in truth. The only way to really test that theory, the only way to fully explore everything that you are possibly capable of, is to continuously and relentlessly push yourself every single day and not look for external factors and not look for other people to be the motivation, but to really challenge yourself to operate to your fullest potential every waking, breathing, living moment."
