Death Row Records Is Now Owned By Toy Company

Hasbro has purchased the company that owns the infamous music label.

Death Row Records was once home for music from 2Pac, Dr. Dre, and Snoop Dogg. Fast forward to present day, its founder Suge Knight is in prison and the label is now owed by a toy company.

According to Rolling Stone, the company that brings joy to children with toys such as My Little Pony, The Power Rangers, and Mr. Potato Head, now owned the legendary music label. Here's the breakdow: the purchase was actually for Entertainment One, a company that owns Peppa Pig and PJ Masks. That same company has a music division, and when Death Row Records went bankrupt in 2006, eOne purchased the famed catalog.

Plans haven't beeen announced of what are the plans for the toy company has with Death Row, but it will definetly be interesting to see.
