If you've been wishing for new music from LL Cool J, then get your Kangol Hats ready, because there is a possibility of it happening.

Let's take it back to the 80's, the decade in which LL became the first artist to be signed to Def Jam Records. During his time with the label, LL was able to complete 13 albums and sell millions of records worldwide.

Eventhough LL's departure from Def Jam in 2008 wasn't pleasing, LL accomplished to be nominated for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, landed great acting opportunities, and has been hosting a successful satellite radio show.

Now, 11 years later, the artist is set to return to the label that started it all.  According to AllHipHopNews, LL's return to Def Jam opens the possibility of new music being released.

If that is the case, LL is set to make a lot of Hip-Hop fans extremely happy!
