American hip hop group, Cypress Hill, has been leading the way for the West Coast rap and hip hop since the early '90s. The band has sold more than 20 million albums worldwide. On August 13, 1991, the band released their debut self-titled album. The album's success did so well that it became certified double Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). A couple noteable songs off the album "How I Could Just Kill a Man" and "The Phuncky Feel One." Cypress Hill's eighth studio album Rise Up was released on April 10, 2010. The album appeared on the Billboard 200 chart at number 19 a couple weeks after release. The band has worked with noteable acts such as Mike Shinoda, Pitbull and Tom Morello.
